About the Role The Assistant Manager at Abercrombie & Fitch is a multi-faceted leadership role that blends business strategy, operations, creativity, and people management to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service. This position oversees daily store operations, open/close routines, and efficiency across processes, while leveraging fashion knowledge, floorset updates, and brand storytelling. It also focuses on talent leadership, including recruiting, training, and development with a promote-from-within mindset to nurture future store leaders.
What You'll Do
- Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
- Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
- Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
- Train and develop the non-management staff.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
- Build and maintain visual displays.
- Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
- Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
- Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
- Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
- Represent the Brand and Exemplify Company Culture and Values.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.

- Knowledge of current fashion trends.
