About the Role The Assistant Manager Manufacturing Engineering will drive plant-level process improvements and implement processes for new product development, providing technical support for manufacturing operations and enabling efficient, reliable production of SKF bearings. What You'll Do
- Drive cycle time improvements and implement solutions to improve OEE and reduce operator fatigue
- Work on New Product Development to ensure right process design and achieve SKF specifications
- Plan and execute industrialization for new bearing types
- Introduce new cutting tools and abrasives (Grinding, Turning & Honing) for output improvement & cost reduction
- Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, and other channel documents for New Product Development and revision of existing products
- Work on technology improvement projects like vision cameras and advanced manufacturing techniques
