Job Description Layelle Africa is seeking a proactive Assistant Manager to bolster its warehouse operations. This role is crucial for overseeing daily activities, supervising a dedicated team, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. You will be instrumental in coordinating the entire process from receiving and arranging inventory to picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. This includes meticulous tracking of goods, identifying discrepancies, and liaising with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail in managing orders and inventory. A reliable and hands-on approach is essential, alongside basic computer literacy for maintaining operational records.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse activities and staff and allocate daily tasks. Coordinate sorting, picking, packing, and preparation of orders for dispatch. Support receiving, arrangement, movement, and inventory tracking of goods. Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and operational issues. Coordinate with couriers and logistics personnel on dispatches. Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and productivity. Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and safety requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Assist with operational reports, customer/order-related issues, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations, logistics, retail operations, or a related role. Previous supervisory experience is an advantage. Good organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to supervise and coordinate a team. Strong attention to detail when handling orders and inventory. Basic computer literacy and ability to maintain operational records. Reliable, responsible, and willing to take a hands-on approach. Candidates must reside within Baruwa, Ayobo, Ipaja, or nearby environs.
