About the Role
Assistant Manager at Kwik Trip oversees all aspects of running a retail/food location. This role includes hiring, training, and scheduling a team of 20-60 coworkers, managing kitchen duties, ensuring food safety, ordering and inventory control, P&Ls, and maintaining a clean, inviting store.
What You'll Do
- Lead store operations to ensure smooth daily performance.
- Hire, train, and schedule 20-60 coworkers; develop talent and mentor others.
- Manage kitchen operations and uphold food safety standards.
- Handle ordering, inventory control, and supplier relationships.
- Oversee P&Ls and drive store profitability.
- Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and visual appeal of the store.
- Resolve coworker and customer concerns with strong people skills.
- Adapt to fast-paced environment and shift priorities as needed.

- Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $56,000.00 to $81,555.00 per year. Actual pay based on qualifications and internal equity.
- Kwik Trip shares 40% of pre-tax profits with coworkers, with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of gross annual wage depending on profitability.
- Benefits package includes health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
- Schedule: typically 45 hours per week; overtime paid at time and a half.
