About the Role
The Assistant Manager at Kwik Star will oversee all aspects of running a retail/food location, supporting store leaders to deliver excellent guest experiences and profitable operations. You will lead hiring, training, scheduling (20-60 coworkers), oversee kitchen tasks, food safety, inventory, and P&Ls, and ensure a clean, inviting store.
What You'll Do

Manage hiring, training, and scheduling for 20-60 coworkers; may be required to work in the kitchen

Oversee kitchen operations and ensure food safety standards

Handle ordering, inventory control, and monitor P&Ls

Maintain clean, well-stocked, and inviting store environment

Resolve coworker and customer concerns; provide mentorship and guidance

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $56,000.00 to $74,396.00 annually; actual pay based on qualifications and internal equity

Eligibility for 40% of pre-tax profits shared back to coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of gross annual wage depending on profitability

Schedule typically 45 hours per week (5-day work week) with overtime paid at time and a half
