About the Role
A Kwik Star Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of running a retail/food location, including hiring, training, and scheduling 20-60 coworkers, kitchen duties, food safety, inventory, and P&Ls, while delivering great guest experiences and maintaining store standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead hiring, training, and scheduling of 20-60 coworkers
- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure food safety
- Manage ordering, inventory control, and P&Ls
- Maintain cleaning, stocking, and inviting store appearance
- Resolve coworker and customer concerns, mentor others
- Adapt to fast-paced environment and shift priorities quickly
- Ensure compliance and participate in scheduling around a typical 45-hour work-week; overtime paid at time and a half

- Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $56,000.00 to $74,396.00 per year (USD)
- 40% of pre-tax profits back to coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of gross annual wage depending on company profitability

- Work schedule typically 45 hours per week with time-and-a-half for hours over 40
