About the Role
The Assistant Manager oversees all aspects of running a Kwik Star location, including people leadership, kitchen responsibilities, and store performance. This role focuses on driving smooth operations, ensuring food safety, and delivering a great guest experience.
What You'll Do
- Hire, train, and schedule 20-60 coworkers
- Ensure kitchen operations and food safety standards are followed
- Manage ordering and inventory control
- Oversee P&Ls and financial performance
- Maintain a clean and inviting store, and handle cleaning and stocking
- Solve coworker and customer concerns and mentor others
- Shift priorities quickly in a fast-paced environment

- Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $54,500.00 to $74,396.40 per year
- 40% of pre-tax profits back to coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of gross annual wage depending on profitability
- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more
- Typical schedule around 45 hours per week; overtime pays time and a half for hours over 40
