About the Role Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the daily business operations of a retail store. This role involves supervising employees and volunteers, assisting customers, and carrying out directives given by the manager. The position also covers merchandise pricing questions, donor/volunteer services, and other store-wide responsibilities. The pay rate is $35/hr.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and assist Store Manager in daily store operations, including supervising employees and volunteers
- Recruit, train, and assign tasks to sales staff and volunteers; monitor sales performance
- Write reports, schedule and coordinate meetings
- Resolve customer complaints and answer questions; provide excellent customer service
- Participate in recruitment and dismissal processes; address employee and customer concerns
