The University seeks to recruit qualified individuals into the position of Assistant Lecturer in Animal Sciences. This is a full-time academic staff appointment within the Faculty of Agriculture with responsibilities in teaching, research and service to the university community.

Role involves supporting teaching and research activities in Animal Sciences, contributing to curriculum development, supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate projects, and participating in departmental and faculty meetings.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate potential for high-quality teaching, innovative research, and contribution to the academic community.

The position requires a strong academic record and relevant research experience in Animal Sciences or related field, with evidence of teaching/research potential.

The candidate must hold a good honours Bachelor’s degree and a relevant Master’s degree from a recognized university (Ph.D. in progress), with evidence of teaching/research potential. Relevant professional registration is required where applicable.
