Job Description
- A reputable hotel in the hospitality industry is seeking a dedicated, hardworking and service-oriented Assistant Laundry Specialist/Personnel to join its team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with washing, drying, ironing and folding of hotel linens, towels, uniforms and guest garments.
- Sort laundry according to colour, fabric and washing requirements.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all clean items are properly folded, stored and delivered to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry area.
- Report damaged or stained items to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining adequate laundry supplies and detergents.
- Follow hotel hygiene, safety and quality standards.
- Perform other laundry-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / OND or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a hotel, laundry facility or hospitality environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Physically fit and able to handle laundry-related tasks.
- Honest, reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
