For appointment to the grade, an officer must have:
- Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience three (3) years of which should have been in Assistant Housekeeper II or in a comparable and equivalent position;
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Hotel Management; Housekeeping and Front Office Management, Housekeeping and laundry operations, Hospitality Management or a related qualification from a recognised institution;
- Proficiency in Computer application; and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
