Job title: Assistant Headteacher – Inclusion
About the Role Assistant Headteacher – Inclusion & SEND at St Paul’s Way Secondary School sits on the Senior Leadership Team with a strategic and operational focus on inclusion, SEND and pastoral care. You will lead and refine inclusive practice across a large, diverse cohort and ensure the needs of our most vulnerable learners are met without compromise.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop whole school inclusion and SEND practice
- Support and develop staff to deliver adaptive, inclusive classroom practice
- Ensure high quality provision for students with SEND, and those requiring additional pastoral support
- Work closely with families, external agencies and pastoral leaders to remove barriers to learning
- Embed systems and routines that enable students with additional needs to flourish alongside their peers
What We're Looking For
- Are qualified SENCOs or are willing to undertake the National Award for SEN Coordination
- Have strong leadership experience and a clear commitment to inclusive education
- Experience working with students with SEND and those requiring pastoral support (EHCPs experience is desirable)

- Experience leading inclusion in a large, diverse school
- Commitment to collaborative, whole-school approaches to inclusion and SEND
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time equivalent salary: 81,120.00 - 88,496.00
