About the Role
KPMG is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join its Global Office of General Counsel, part of KPMG International. This role provides strategic legal counsel to support the firm's global operations, risk management, and corporate governance.
What You'll Do
- Provide legal guidance to the Global Office of General Counsel on a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters affecting KPMG's global network
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to protect the firm's interests
- Advise on governance, compliance, and cross-border matters in collaboration with business teams across regions
- Support risk management initiatives and counsel on strategic initiatives and transactions
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor or equivalent; bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
- Experience in corporate, commercial, or professional services law with exposure to multinational environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with cross-border transactions, complex negotiations, or Big Four / professional services exposure
- Knowledge of international regulatory considerations and corporate governance practices
