About this role
About the Role Assistant General Counsel with AIG's Data, Digital & Cyber Legal team will support our global insurance business on cybersecurity, data protection, and artificial intelligence matters across the Asia-Pacific region. You will advise business, technology, and risk stakeholders, helping shape data governance, cyber resilience, and responsible AI deployment from Singapore.
What You'll Do
- Advise on cybersecurity legal risks, including incident response, data breaches, ransomware, and regulatory notification obligations across APAC jurisdictions.
- Support development and negotiation of technology and ICT contracts (cloud, SaaS, outsourcing, cybersecurity services).
- Provide input into cyber resilience frameworks and alignment with global regulatory standards (e.g., MAS TRM, APRA CPS 234, HKMA requirements).
