The Opportunity:
Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager.
Essential function of the job:
- Always offer professional and engaging service
- Assist in overseeing at the Front Office and Guest Services - conduct interviews, departmental trainings, and provide hands on support
- Ensure communication between pertinent departments is seamless regarding any special needs with guests
- Assist in conducting performance evaluations and disciplines staff when needed
- Coordinate arrivals, departures for guests
- Work with internal departments regarding billing
- Block rooms for arrivals to ensure proper handling of special attention guest, return guest and groups
- Assure that all financial and credit procedures are followed. Follow up on credit problems with Financial Manager
- Follow-up with guest requests
- Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available.
- Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2-3 years of luxury hotel experience in a supervisory or management role of Front Office or Rooms Division
- Must be flexible with schedule – Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evenings and some overnights.
- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America
