Assistant EMS Manager
The EMS Assistant Manager supports the operational, clinical, and strategic functions of Adena Health EMS by providing leadership and oversight of pre-hospital EMS partnerships as well as night shift operations. This role serves as a key liaison between Adena Health EMS, regional EMS agencies, hospital departments, and community partners to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and enhance coordination of patient care across the healthcare continuum. The Assistant Manager provides direct support and monitoring of night shift staffing, operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and adherence to organizational policies and clinical standards while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence. The Clinic Manager II assumes primary responsibility for overseeing clinical and administrative functions of capital and operating budgets, patient registration, billing, clinical information systems, management of clinical and administrative staff and clinic marketing and planning. This position is responsible for managing performance for Caregiver Engagement, Service Excellence, Quality & Safety and Stewardship. Responsible for multiple small practices or a large complex practice with a score between 7 and 12 on the Manger Trigger Tool (see below). This position ensures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, financial performance and clinic policies. Decisions are made independently or in collaboration with others. This position has patient contact, has access to confidential information and functions under the direct supervision of a Director.
