Assistant Dispatch Manager - Logistics B2B Location: Lagos
Purpose To coordinate and oversee loading and dispatch activities to ensure timely and efficient operations while adhering to standard processes and procedures and optimize delivery planning to prevent customer stockouts and maintain smooth logistics operations.
The Job Coordinate loading and dispatch activities in line with standard processes and procedures. Monitor customer schedules and proactively plan deliveries to prevent stockouts. Supervise and manage the dispatch team to prevent zero-value transactions. Engage registered transporters for truck allocation and optimize fleet usage. Minimize internal and external demurrage for dedicated trucks through efficient scheduling. Prepare and submit daily delivery loadout reports for tracking and analysis.
