About this role
Two Business Administrators will serve as an Assistant Director of Operations and Finance in the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine's Department of Surgery. The roles support financial and business operations within the department, providing forecasting and data-driven insights to drive decisions, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This opportunity operates within a partnership framework involving the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
What You'll Do

Manage the financial and operational activities of specialized areas within the department, including budgeting, profit and loss statements, and variance reporting.

Provide accurate forecasting and an agile response to business trends; use data to drive decisions.

Perform day-to-day administration of specialized activities and reporting to management.

Provide recommendations and advice to management or other groups on process-related topics.

Conduct or carry out work procedures and activities in accordance with local, state, federal, and university regulations.

Collaborate with divisions within the department to support financial and business operations.
