Assistant Director of General Services
The Placer County Department of General Services is hiring an Assistant Director of General Services to help lead a newly formed department. This executive leadership role partners with the Director to guide department operations, advance County priorities, strengthen collaboration across divisions, and ensure efficient, customer-focused services. The Assistant Director will also oversee key initiatives and may serve as Acting Director in the Director’s absence.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished, collaborative, and forward-thinking executive who can help lead a diverse and evolving General Services organization. They will demonstrate strong executive judgment, political and organizational acumen, and the ability to build trusted relationships with elected officials, County executives, department heads, employees, community partners, and other stakeholders.
