Assistant Director of Financial Assistance
General Purpose of Position Assists in administering need-based and non-need-based federal, state, private, and institutional financial assistance programs and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and institutional policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and work with Institutional Advancement, regarding the underwriting of Institutional Endowed scholarships and awards
- Monitor students regarding their satisfactory academic progress in federal aid programs
- Monitor students to ensure student recipients remain in good standing regarding their specific institutional scholarship fund.
- Counsel, verify, package, and award both prospective and upper class students
- Serve as primary FA Counselor for those studying abroad
- Performs other duties as assigned
