Key Responsibilities

• YOUR ROLE

• As our Assistant Director of Finance, you will work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure financial integrity, operational efficiency and compliance with the highest standards.

• Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Director of Finance in overseeing daily financial and accounting operations.

• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, reconciliations and month-end closing.

• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.

• Maintaining compliance with local legislation, tax regulations, corporate policies and financial procedures.

• Supporting and developing the Finance team through coaching, training and leadership.

• Collaborating with department heads to support informed financial decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and financial records.

• Contributing to the implementation of financial standards and processes as the hotel enters its new chapter.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Previous experience in a senior accounting or finance position, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and Czech financial regulations.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence in leading, motivating and developing a team.
• A collaborative approach, attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Professional proficiency in English.
