Job title: Assistant Controller
About the Role The Assistant Controller will work directly with the Director of Finance to oversee the financial close process, accounting operations, and financial reporting. This role ensures accurate and timely financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP while supporting system improvements and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Manage and coordinate all activities necessary to close fiscal periods in accordance with the monthly closing schedule; ensure all journal entries are recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by accounting staff.
- Oversee accounting operations including revenue, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
