About the Role McKendree University invites qualified applicants to join our team as an Assistant Coach for Swim and Dive. This role supports the Head Swim and Dive coach in administrative and on-deck duties, with a 9-month appointment that includes practice planning, academic monitoring, recruiting, fundraising, NCAA compliance, travel planning, and home meet operations. What You'll Do
- Assist with seasonal and daily practice planning
- Monitor academic progress of student-athletes
- Recruit and participate in fundraising efforts
- Ensure NCAA compliance and assist with team travel planning
- Assist with home meet operations What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Varied work hours based on recruiting, games, and practices; normally 8:00am-5:00pm; weekend and evening hours required; travel mandatory
- 9-month appointment (September through May) Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive compensation and benefits package. Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits. Part-time employees who work an average of 20 hours per week may be eligible for our deferred compensation plan.
