Job title: Assistant Clinical Research Manager - Center of Early Detection & Intervention Blood Cancers Interventional Clinical Trials
About the Role The Assistant Clinical Research Manager (ACRM) will work within the Center of Early Detection & Intervention Blood Cancers (CEDI BC) Interventional Clinical Trials program to assist in managing the research team and conducting clinical trials under Good Clinical Practice and PI oversight. They will collaborate with CRM physicians, research nurses, and program staff to design, implement, and evaluate trials and provide day-to-day supervision of program research staff.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Clinical Research Manager with oversight of the disease group’s clinical trial portfolio and all regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Support study start-up, ongoing conduct, and close-out activities for the portfolio, including tracking protocol development, submission, review, and approval milestones.
- Oversee subject enrollment, treatment, and follow-up processes; assist with patient registration and registrar responsibilities as outlined in protocol.
- Ensure regulatory documents are compliant; implement systems to monitor document collection and maintenance; assist with safety reporting, annual approvals, deviations, and other reporting.
- Maintain an audit-ready research environment; assist with data management and compliance; maintain schedules and generate progress reports to sponsors and PI.
- Support staff training and development, onboarding, orientation, and participation in performance evaluations as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to perform day-to-day responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to identify regulatory scenarios requiring consultation.
- Understanding of the clinical trials lifecycle (start-up, active, close-out).
- Knowledge of clinical research, local policy, and federal regulation.
- Knowledge of cancer as a disease and cancer treatment modalities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,300.00 per year.
- Work location: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week); remote days limited to New England states (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI).
