Job title: Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

About the Role The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRC) will work under the supervision and guidance of the Principal Investigator and Clinical Research Supervisor at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center. The ACRC serves as a liaison between research participants and other faculty/study staff members to perform entry-level duties related to the support and coordination of clinical studies in the UCSF Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and associated projects.

What You'll Do

  • Provide support and coordination for various clinical studies, including single- and multi-site clinical trials and observational studies in neurodegenerative disease.
  • Understand study protocols and inclusion/exclusion criteria to assist in screening and enrollment of participants.
  • Coordinate scheduling of study visit events (neurological exams, nursing interviews, biospecimen collection) and work to retain participants through study completion.
  • May assist in acquiring MR images.

What We're Looking For

  • Interest in clinical research and neurodegenerative disease.
  • Ability to understand study protocols and eligibility criteria to assist with screening and enrollment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate study visits and liaise with participants, investigators, and staff.
  • Willingness to assist with MR image acquisition as needed.
