Position Summary
The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking a new mid-career physician as Assistant Clinical Cardiologist. This position will involve working at a large multi-specialty medical practice in Suffern/Rockland County, adjacent to New York City.
In this role, the Assistant Clinical Cardiologist will participate in providing the highest level of care to cardiovascular patients.
Responsibilities

Clinical responsibilities include: delivering exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes; mentoring junior colleagues, supporting their professional development and growth; contributing to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts; engaging in continuing medical education (CME) and maintaining relevant advanced certifications; serving as a trusted resource for complex cases and high-acuity patients; achieving and upholding high patient satisfaction scores; meeting or surpassing productivity targets; participating in call coverage for the group; maintaining certification in noninvasive imaging; performing other responsibilities as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree; 0-5 years post-training; board certified or eligible in Cardiology; current New York State Medical License; fellowship training in the respective subspecialty (Interventional Cardiology, Heart Failure, Echocardiography, or Nuclear Cardiology)

Medical clearance and participation in the medical surveillance program; successful and ongoing completion of compliance and systems training requirements
