About the Role We are seeking an Assistant Brewer to support day-to-day brewery operations at our Olympia facility. This role helps ensure efficient production, quality control, and smooth execution of brewing and packaging tasks.
What You'll Do
- Assist with brewing and fermentation activities following standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and log data such as temperatures, gravities, pH, and batch records.
- Maintain cleaning and sanitation of all brewery equipment and work areas.
- Aid in packaging, kegging, labeling, and related tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the brewing team on trials, adjustments, and quality checks.
- Follow safety protocols and uphold product integrity and cleanliness.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for craft beer and a desire to learn the brewing process.
- Ability to follow SOPs, quality control procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Good attention to detail, basic math, and reliable record-keeping.
- Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
Nice to Have
- Prior brewing, production, or cellar experience.
- Knowledge of beer styles, CIP processes, and sanitation practices.
- Food safety certifications or related training.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $52,000 per year (USD).
