Job title: Assistant Athletic Trainer
About the Role The Assistant Athletic Trainer will support Samford University's athletics program by providing athletic training services under the direction of team physicians and the Director of Sports Medicine. This includes injury prevention, evaluation and diagnosis, immediate emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation, and medical record keeping for athletes, plus day-to-day operations and game management as assigned.
What You'll Do
- Provide athletic training services under the direction of team physicians and the Director of Sports Medicine, including injury prevention, evaluation/diagnosis, immediate emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation, and medical record keeping for athletes
- Oversee day-to-day operations and game management at assigned events, along with other administrative duties assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine
