About the Role Mississippi College's Office of Athletics is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer to provide appropriate care for athletic injuries to athletes. This position reports to the Head Athletic Trainer and will be responsible for covering a particular team each semester, with the possibility of filling in for other teams as needed. - Provide appropriate care for athletic injuries to athletes.
- Be responsible for a particular team during each semester, but may fill in for other teams as needed.
- Be proficient in athletic training practice domains including; injury/illness prevention and wellness protection, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- BOC certified.
- Licensed by Mississippi State Department of Health.
- Proficient in athletic training practice domains including; injury/illness prevention and wellness protection, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation, organizational and professional health and well-being.
