Assistant Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY

• The Assistant Accountant reports to the ADOF and supports the finance team on the day to day execution of general ledger processes including account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting and discrepancy resolution and end of month processes.

This is a Cluster Role supporting Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands and AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank.

ABOUT YOU

• Finance or accounting qualifications or currently working towards completion.
• Prior experience in a finance role such as AR, AP or finance officer
• First hand work experience or a strong understanding of the hospitality industry
• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Enthusiastic to escalate your career
• Highly organised and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
