About the Role
This role will be a key member of the finance team, directly supporting the senior finance accountants and contributing to compliance and integrity of accounting and tax compliance.
Responsibilities
- Primary Responsibility: Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and US GAAP, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Prepare, review, and ensure compliance of invoices and their electronic payment receipts according to Mexican Tax Laws, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Serve as support for both customer and internal inquiries, providing follow-up on accounting matters.
- Collaborate on preparing responses to tax authorities’ invitations.
- Prepare tax reports and files to support tax refunds.
- Electronic accounting filing.
