About the Role Join Wipro's Asset Servicing team in Gurgaon/Bangalore to manage bond servicing activities including paydowns, interest calculations, and corporate actions. You will work with global teams, utilize Geneva for bookings, and tools like Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and DTC for data validation and trade checks.
What You'll Do
- Hands-on asset servicing: processing paydowns, interest, and corporate actions for bonds (mandatory and voluntary).
- Use Bloomberg / Refinitiv / DTC to check trade tickets, accrued interest, and corporate actions.
- Reconcile cash and positions across funds daily using DUCO.
- Update and process activities in Geneva; contact Agents / Custody / Internal teams to resolve exceptions.
- Escalate unresolved cash and position breaks to Manager and onshore team.
- Create SOPs and participate in training; support UAT and system integration as needed.
- Review and act on incorrect PNL changes in Geneva vs third party or day-over-day changes; apply accounting concepts (PNL, Realized and Unrealized, FX PNL, Accrued/Daily Interest for asset classes like Bonds).
- Review Deal Documents / Credit Agreements / Notices for asset setup in Geneva.
- Liaise with global teams and support ongoing projects.
- Troubleshoot across multiple groups to resolve technical and accounting issues.
- Demonstrate strong Microsoft Office skills and effective communication across global clients.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of Private Deals / Bonds.
- Processing experience with Geneva for booking capital activities, bond paydowns and interest (fixed and variable).
- Reconciliation experience of Cash and Position using DUCO or another reconciliation platform.
- Hands-on experience processing activities manually in Geneva related to Credit events.
- Good to have knowledge on private placements, Bloomberg, Refinitiv/DTC, Bond Trade lifecycle.
- Awareness of Agents Banks, Trustees and Custodian roles in supporting Private Credit assets.
- Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel) with high proficiency.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work as an individual contributor; strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills; multitasking under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written English for cross-border communication.
Nice to Have
- Waterfall payments knowledge.
- Experience with private deals/bonds and private placements.
- Experience with UAT, system integration, and project support.
- Prior exposure to cross-functional teams and global clients.
