Job title: Assembly Technician - FULL TIME
About the Role
Join Dana's brownfield startup facility in Napoleon, Ohio, where you will perform repetitive line operations to assemble axles and help establish the production line for Ford Bronco and Ranger. This full-time Assembly Technician role requires working on 2nd or 3rd shift with a foundation in safety and quality. You will promote Dana Operating System principles, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with a team to ensure smooth operations.
What You'll Do
- Perform repetitive line operations to assemble axles.
- Maintain high quality standards and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Complete tasks assigned by Supervisor/Team Leader; train and operate all work stations across the assembly line.
- Communicate machine/equipment malfunctions to supervisor; report safety issues; escalate incidents.
- Inspect finished products for defects and isolate damaged items.
- Demonstrate teamwork and contribute to continuous improvement and inclusion.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Production and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Good work history.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and repeat assembly actions.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and verifications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base hourly rate: $18.00/hr (1st shift); $18.50/hr (2nd shift, +$0.50 differential); $18.35/hr (3rd shift, +$0.35 differential).
