Assembly Operator

About the Role Volt is hiring Assembly Operators in Huntington Beach, CA. You will build and assemble complex mechanisms using engineering drawings and specifications, install hardware and wiring, and ensure products meet the latest revisions and quality standards. You will also maintain tools and equipment and document manufacturing activities throughout the production cycle. What You'll Do

• Build and assemble complex mechanisms, structures, and assemblies using engineering drawings and specifications
• Install screws, rivets, seals, fasteners, upholstery, electrical wiring, and various hardware components
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and blueprints
• Ensure products are assembled according to the latest engineering revisions and specifications
• Maintain and repair production equipment and tools; report issues to management promptly
• Complete work orders and traceability documentation throughout the manufacturing cycle
• Maintain safe and effective use of machine tools, hand tools, and production equipment
• Report defects or quality concerns to Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Engineering teams
• Follow installation procedures according to engineering requirements
• Prepare units for fabrication, painting, assembly, and shipping
• Mix and apply adhesives according to manufacturer and engineering specifications
• Verify unit dimensions prior to installing inserts, rivets, blind nuts, fittings, and other hardware
• Bond, glue, screw, rivet, or otherwise attach parts together as required
• Prepare and organize tools and materials for manufacturing operations
• Rotate between workstations based on production demands
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, equipment, and tools
• Schedule: Monday to Friday - 6:30am-3:00pm What We're Looking For
• Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
