About the Role Volt is immediately hiring for Assembly Operator I in Landisville, PA. The Assembly Operator I will be responsible for preparing machines and equipment for daily use, performing quality inspections, and maintaining quality documentation with attention to gauging and inspection tooling. What You'll Do
- Prepare machines and equipment for daily use
- Perform quality checks and ensure the product meets quality standards
- Communicate any issues to the set-up, technician, and supervisor during operations
- Use inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, optical comparators) and independently complete quality inspection documentation, making necessary adjustments
- Understand gauging and visual inspection tooling and maintain attention to detailed processes
- Identify product defects and document/notify as appropriate
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma (or years of experience) and/or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience interacting with mechanical systems
- Proficient with inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspection
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.80 per hour
