Volt is immediately hiring for Assembly Operator I at Hauppauge, NY 11788.
As an Assembly Operator I, you will:
- Set up of Relay Adjust Machines for various relays.
- Visual inspection of relays. Magnetizing relays.
- Adjusting contact forces on relays.
- Adjusting pick up, hold, and drop out voltage on relays. Contact gap adjustment.
- Contact bounce time adjustment.
- Maintaining a clean, safe work area.
This is Full-Time, Contract Opportunity.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School diploma required or GED is required.
- 1-2 yrs experience in electromechanical assembly preferred.
- Basic English communications skills (speaking, reading, writing).
- Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Inspection skills preferred.
- Previous experience with electronic assembly is preferred.
Schedule: 1st Shift 7am to 3:30pm est, Monday through Friday.
Location: Hauppauge, NY 11788
Payrate Range in Between - $18 - $20/hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
