Job title: Assembly Manufacturing Engineer Co-op (Spring 2027)
Description
- Communicates to management any changes or issues that may impact department or company performance and collaborates with management to achieve resolution.
- Ensuring cars get through the whole ATG process on time
- Drives and steers supplier quality representatives when issues negatively impact product quality.
- Performs tactical decision making for urgent issues.
- Manages support groups in problem solving and prevention.
- Performs strategic management for anticipation of change.
- Ensures that Department goals are consistently met.
- Maintains continuous improvement in regard to all measurable
- Update Co-Op manual
- Create process sheets for high speed test track facility
- Develop an e-learning for the ATG process
- IPSQ
- Power BI
- Quality Analytics
- SQL
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (preferably Industrial or Mechanical)
- Microsoft Excel (experience with VLookup, Macros, etc. preferred)
- Detail-oriented
- Organized
- Effective communication skills
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- THE WORK TERM DATES ARE January 11th – May 14th, 2027.
- Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations.
