About the Role Volt is immediately hiring for an Assembler in Cheektowaga and Lancaster, NY locations. This is a full-time opportunity involving blueprint and schematic interpretation, assembly of wire harnesses, crimping, material selection, hand tool testing, and quality control to support production. - Quality control What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Technical Certificate/degree preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly
- Mechanical assembly experience is a huge plus
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Ability to use variety of hand power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Attention to detail and awareness Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $20.00-$28.00 per hour based on shift and skill level
