Assembler

About the Role Volt is hiring an Assembler for a company located in Anaheim, CA. You will join a production team responsible for assembling components onto custom vehicles, operating hand and power tools, and maintaining accurate production records under supervision. What You'll Do

• Safely use and operate various tools including power tools, hoists, and production equipment to assemble components onto custom vehicles.
• Accurately complete paperwork required for production records.
• Read, understand, and follow established processes and instructions.
• Perform duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Group Leader.
• Use air/power/vibrating tools and maintain strong pincher grip where required.
• Work safely around moving equipment, power tools, and industrial vehicles.
• Assemble components onto custom vehicles and perform inspections.
• This is a full-time opportunity with a schedule of Monday through Friday with overtime and weekends as needed. What We're Looking For
• Required Skills & Qualifications: Follow all safety rules, maintain a clean and orderly work area; maintain a consistent pace with focus on quality; participate in continuous improvement; work overtime as required; maintain regular attendance.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs; bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat; stand and walk for the duration of the shift; reach overhead; repetitive use of upper extremities; may be required to perform functions up to twelve hours a day.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of computers; basic knowledge of power, air, torque, and manual tools; understanding of mechanical and assembly concepts; prior assembly experience preferred. Nice to Have

• Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
