About the Role
Ferrara/KME, part of Terex Corporation, seeks an assembly-focused team member to support manufacturing, quality, and safety requirements for fire apparatus components in Holden, LA. This hands-on role uses schematics, shop orders, prints, BOMs, and other instructions to assemble and prepare parts while maintaining safety and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Read and follow schedules, manuals, wiring diagrams, shop orders, prints, pick lists, BOMs, photos, and instructions; become familiar with schematics.
- Identify and understand basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical components used in assembly.
- Review shop orders and related materials to determine requirements.
- Retrieve parts, materials, and supplies from staging locations.
- Operate hand and power tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure manufacturing, quality, and safety requirements are met.
