Assembler
Gain valuable skills as an Assembler! Our growing manufacturing client is seeking team players to help fabricate rigid and flexible metal tubing at their Laconia, NH facility. Both 1st and 2nd shift openings are available.
Responsibilities of the Assembler
- Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, components, and finished products
- Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair rigid and/or flexible tube assemblies
- Use hand tools and set up, operate, and monitor equipment
- Perform cutting, grinding, forming, de-burring, cleaning, swaging, and polishing per specifications
- Follow blueprints, method sheets, and policies
- Check work for quality
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications of the Assembler
- High school diploma or GED, 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to interpret blueprints and use precision measurement tools
- Visual acuity and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing priorities
- Team player who can work well independently
