About the Role This position works in the belting cell to assemble conveyor components using hand tools. The primary focus is assembling components for conveyors, maintaining safety, and contributing to a clean, organized 5S environment. The role supports production goals and requires attention to detail and quality checks. What You'll Do
- Perform conveyor assemblies or sub assemblies from work orders or blueprints.
- Use a variety of hand tools to assemble components for conveyors.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and perform 5S tasks as required.
- Inspect finished products for defects and perform quality checks.
- Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to reflect changing needs or job demands.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $19+/hour, depending on experience. Additional $2/hour for 2nd shift.
