About this role

About the Role CNH Industrial N.V. is seeking an Assembly Operator to perform a variety of assembly operations for preparation and installation of engines, hydraulic units and power units on power equipment and self-propelled equipment. This role involves operating material handling equipment, setting up and using a hydraulic press, and ensuring quality through testing and adherence to drawings and specifications to support production goals. What You'll Do

  • Perform assembly operations for preparation and installation of engines, hydraulic units and power units on power equipment and self-propelled equipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment including gas, propane, diesel or electric forklifts; bridge cranes; and other material handling devices.
  • Set up and operate a hydraulic press; perform hand assembly prior to pressing.
  • Assemble, adjust, and finish parts, gearboxes, sub-assemblies and assemblies; may include complex sub-assemblies or finished products at any station.
  • Assist in developing assembly practices and procedures.
  • Test assembled products and make adjustments as required; inspect parts and ensure quality.
  • Tag equipment for disposition or rework.
  • Perform assembly operations related to installation of cutter heads, gearboxes, wheel ends, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, engines, and air conditioning, etc., per build sheets or prints.
  • Use dial indicators and other measuring devices to adhere to manufacturing tolerances.
  • Work from drawings, wiring diagrams, shop orders, specifications and verbal instructions.
  • Maintain responsibility for inspection of parts, SPC, TPM, teamwork, accuracy, inventory control, total quality, and training new operators.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Overtime may be required in addition to occasional Saturday operations. What We're Looking For
  • 1 year of direct assembly experience in manufacturing.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read drawings, shop orders, specifications and wiring diagrams; use measuring devices and maintain tolerances.
  • Willingness to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes) and a hydraulic press as required. Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting hourly rate: $26.03 per hour.
