Assembler - A-S-H

About the Role As an Assembler for A-S-H at ANDRITZ in Lancaster, OH, you will assemble a variety of complex components and sub-assemblies per blueprints and work instructions, occasionally incorporating variations for specific orders. You may also work with electrical control panels and perform test runs up to 440 volts. This role supports the timely delivery of finished units and requires attention to quality and setup accuracy. What You'll Do

• Assemble complex components and sub-assemblies, including variations from standard units for specific orders, following supervisor instructions and blueprints.
• Read and interpret complex schematic diagrams to assemble or wire control panels (air or electric); evaluate and incorporate engineering changes to improve assemblies.
• Set up and operate assigned machines, perform tests and make final adjustments prior to shipment; inspect own work and cooperate with in-process and final inspections.
• May use forklift, climb ladders, and pack/box product during assembly; may requisition parts to fill orders and check parts received for identity and quality; notify supervisor of shortages.
• Stamp or identify work and record production data as directed. What We're Looking For
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematic diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience assembling components and sub-assemblies, including complex grinders and blowers; ability to wire/control panels (air or electric).
• Knowledge of electrical systems up to 440V maximum for test runs.
• Forklift operation and physical ability to handle packing/boxing tasks.
• Attention to quality with ability to inspect own work and document production data; ability to participate in in-process and final inspections.
• Willingness to requisition parts and manage basic inventory; strong communication to notify shortages to supervisor.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; able to follow supervisor instructions and work at an office-based location in Lancaster, OH.
