Responsibilities of the Assembler 1
- Learn to read, comprehend, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings and work instructions
- Work with various sized materials and use hand tools and power tools to complete subassemblies and finished goods
- Strip, tin, and label cables
- Glue/seal and solder components
- Set up and use test equipment to record, compile, and evaluate data
- Identify and report product defects, low inventory levels, and other issues
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and safe
- Perform other tasks as assigned
