About this role
We are seeking an Arts & Culture Producer to lead inVision’s art activations: public installations, exhibitions, live events and cultural partnerships that carry our initiatives’ messages to a mass audience. The role sits in the Media, Art and Narrative Domain, inVision’s in-house marketing, content and storytelling engine, which turns each initiative’s mission into campaign strategy, content, art and distribution that change how people think and act across the Global South. Together with each initiative, the role decides where art is the strongest tool, takes every activation from first idea to the moment the audience meets the work and designs it to travel beyond the room through press, social, out-of-home and the inDrive app, with impact goals set before launch. It also builds the network of artists, venues and cultural partners that lets inVision repeat and grow this work.
Key Responsibilities
- Build the art activations approach across the initiatives: where art adds the most value, which formats to use, and how it fits each comms plan and budget.
- Deliver activations end to end: artist selection, commissioning, production, logistics, installation and on-site delivery.
- Hire and manage contractors (fabricators, AV and build teams) and hold them to a high standard of finish.
- Manage budgets, timelines, suppliers and venues for every activation.
- Plan earned media and content from the start, so each activation reaches press, social and out-of-home.
- Agree impact goals before launch, then work with Project Managers and research partners to show how the work shifted the audience.
- Build and steward a network of artists, galleries, cultural institutions, festivals, local partners and funders.
- Protect brand, dignity and careful imagery on sensitive subjects, check every venue and partner before committing, and secure artists’ rights to film, photograph and use the work across inVision’s channels.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education: A background in art, design, architecture, film, live events or media production is an advantage.
Experience: 7+ years producing complex projects from idea to delivery (art, live events, exhibitions, media production or similar), running the production yourself. International or cross-country project experience is an advantage.
People management: Strong experience leading external contractors, suppliers and artists is required.
Knowledge and skills:
- End-to-end production management: budgets, timelines, suppliers, venues, logistics and installation
- Briefing, negotiating with and managing contractors and suppliers
- Artist commissioning, contracts, rights and consents
- Campaign planning: how channels, audiences and earned media work
- Setting impact goals and working with research partners to measure results Languages: English (Advanced, C1)
Key Competencies

- High standards of execution and attention to detail
- Strategic thinking: connects each idea to the initiative’s goals and makes the case to stakeholders
- Stakeholder management across initiatives and countries
- Cultural sensitivity, and real care for mission and social impact
