About the Role Regent University's School of Communication & the Arts seeks a full-time, professional-track Artists in Residence focusing on live and recorded music and worship event production. The appointment supports teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in music and worship arts and providing audio, video, and lighting services for the Regent Center for Performing Arts. What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses across degree programs in music and worship arts.
- Provide audio, video, and lighting services for concerts, events, professional music recordings, and other university offerings.
- Collaborate with the Department of Music and Worship Arts and the Regent Center for Performing Arts as a professional/academic incubator of redemptive music and theatre.
- Fulfill production duties including audio production and post-production, video production and post-production for live events, and lighting and live event technologies.
- Engage with online instruction and Christ-centered teaching aligned with Regent's mission. What We're Looking For
- Energetic, entrepreneurial audiovisual storyteller with demonstrated music and event production experience across multiple areas.
- An appropriate degree and the ability to teach and support students pursuing careers in music and worship arts.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the needed fields (audio, video/post, lighting, live event tech) and potential to teach across the curriculum.
- Commitment to Christ-centered teaching and learning; willingness to embrace Regent's identity and mission. Nice to Have
- Experience across more than one production field, substantial professional production credits, and juried recognition. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000–$80,000 per year; appointments typically begin between $70,000 and $75,000. Regent provides generous benefits for regular faculty and staff working at least 30 hours per week.
