Narok County Public Service Board
Narok County Government was formed by the County Governments Act of 2012 as prescribed in the 2010 Constitution of Kenya. It is one of the 47 devolved units situated in the Great Rift Valley in the Southern part of the Country where it boarders the republic of Tanzania. Narok County has its headquarters in Narok Town, off Narok Nakuru Road. Narok County comprises of six (6) sub-counties namely: Narok North, Narok West, Narok East, Narok South, Transmara East and Transmara West.

SALARY SCALE: CPSB 14 Ksh. 19,340 х 580 - 19,920 х 640 - 20,560 х 680 - 21,240 х 700 - 21,940 х 780 -22,720 х 800 - 23,520 х 950 - 24,470 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre.
- An Artisan at this level will work under guidance of a senior Artisan in the area of specialization.
- Duties and responsibilities will entail: assisting in installation and maintenance works; processing and assembling of materials for works; participating in procurement and selection of materials for works; and maintaining and ensuring safe custody of working tools.
Requirements for Appointment
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) of minimum mean grade ‘D’ (plain) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Government Trade Test Certificate Grade III in the respective craft; and
- Certificate in computer applications.
