Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to deliver engaging, practical and developmentally appropriate Art lessons that inspire creativity, self-expression, critical thinking and appreciation of the visual arts.
Location: Ajah, Awoyaya, Epe, Abijo
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons aligned with the curriculum.

Teach a broad range of art techniques, media and creative processes.

Differentiate instruction to meet students’ diverse learning needs.

Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.

Maintain a safe, organised and stimulating Art learning environment.

Organise art displays, exhibitions, competitions, clubs and creative projects.

Promote appreciation of Nigerian, African and global art and culture.

Manage Art materials, tools and resources responsibly.

Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school-wide activities and initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Visual Arts, Creative Arts, Education or a related field.

Professional teaching qualification (B.Ed./PGDE or equivalent) is an advantage.

Valid TRCN registration/licence or eligibility for registration, where applicable.

Previous experience teaching Art in a recognised school.

Strong knowledge of Art techniques, classroom management and student assessment.
