Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Operations in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to store personnel, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, disturbances, and other security-related concerns; report observations and respond in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in accordance with site procedures, utilizing required equipment and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
